The pale rain fell harder and harder, and the War Knight looked up at the sky, cold energy eyes showing human-like confusion.
He raised one hand, staring at the white raindrop landing in his palm, as the white foam slowly wriggled, trying to corrupt and penetrate the machinery. Some raindrops indeed did so, seeping into the War Knight and his steed through the gaps in the mechanical structure.
Large swathes of white foam enveloped, sprouting tentacles that wrapped around the War Knight, frantically winding, tightening, and churning.
On the streets and alleys of Berlin, white raindrops fell to the ground, lifting heavy white mist that pushed away the pervading red mist from sight.
This fog carried an indescribable sense of oppression, causing followers loyal to the War Knight to experience unfounded fear, as a whisper that was both incomprehensible and seemingly reasonable spread through the air.
