"The two ancestors' idea was probably to use these two things to continuously imbue justice and courage in the descendants of the two Kingdoms, ensuring their descendants wouldn't 'degenerate', thereby making the two Kingdoms better and better.
Unfortunately, though they had noble intentions, without enough courage, knowing what's just isn't enough to act upon it. Those with no sense of fairness, no matter how brave, are merely reckless fools. And with the ordinary human constitution, without the corresponding bloodline endowment, it's impossible to accept two types of power fragments simultaneously.
So over the years, those who were anointed in the Western Carlay Wen Kingdom, although they understood what was right, neither dared to do it nor could accomplish it, often living their entire lives tormented by their own cowardice.
