Once the dust settled, a deep pit appeared on the ground, about a yard deep, and at the bottom, Fang Bai's body lay curled up in a ball.
The Bixie Immortal Beast spread its wings, diving down from the mountaintop, landing at the edge of the pit. Its Divine Sense swept over Fang Bai's body, finding signs of life, and thus it didn't disturb him, squatting there to continue its watch.
A day later, the wounds on Fang Bai's body in the pit began to scab and peel off, revealing skin as fair as jade, glowing with a pristine shine, resembling a sleeping infant.
Another day passed, Fang Bai's body moved slightly, emitting a lazy hum from his nose and mouth.
"He's about to wake up!"
The Bixie Immortal Beast's gaze on Fang Bai showed a faint human-like joy.
