In the jungle, a group of people taking a shortcut ran breathlessly to the finish line.
"Is it here?" Mu Cheng, who was in the last batch to arrive, mumbled.
"Not far off."
Someone muttered.
Mu Cheng bent over to catch his breath and looked up to see others arriving one after another.
These people were exhausted.
The students ran along the road, which was relatively flat for five kilometers, so it wasn't too strenuous. However, although they took a shortcut, they traversed areas with shrubs and obstacles, needing parkour skills to get through smoothly, and their pace was fast, requiring twice or more effort to reach here.
Mu Cheng looked at the others; some simply sat on the ground.
"My god, running like this felt like lord Yan was shooting a machine gun behind us, almost made me faint."
"Don't mention it. I never thought there would be a day when I'd nearly hang myself halfway just to watch a show."
