This rain is indeed a bit heavy. Mo Shangjun looked like she just came out of the water, leaving a trail of puddles wherever she went.
Captain Liu called out twice but, seeing he couldn't change Mo Shangjun's mind, took the initiative to help her dial Zheng Cun's office phone number.
"Commander Zheng."
As soon as the call connected, Mo Shangjun called out.
"Oh, Xiaomo, still training?" Zheng Cun's tone was casual, without the usual formalities.
"Mhm."
For some reason, Mo Shangjun responded softly.
Zheng Cun asked, "Got time around noon?"
"Hm?"
"I'm coming over today to pick up Zheng Su, and I happen to have something to discuss with you," Zheng Cun said. "How about we have lunch together?"
"This..."
Mo Shangjun found it hard to refuse.
But with Zheng Su there, she wasn't exactly eager either.
Noticing Mo Shangjun's hesitation, Zheng Cun asked, "Is it inconvenient?"
After a moment's thought, Mo Shangjun simply asked, "What's it about?"
