When he went in, he saw Old Meng leaning on the sofa, snoring in his sleep. He initially wanted not to wake him, but after coming out of the restroom, feeling relaxed and at ease, he unconsciously walked a bit heavier as he made his way back to the living room.
Perhaps it was because his footsteps were so unfamiliar, or maybe Old Meng had just reached the time to wake naturally, that he was instantly startled awake.
"Who is it!"
Director Wei stopped in his tracks.
"Old Meng, I'm sorry to have disturbed you."
Old Meng sat up, looked intently, and realized it was Director Wei. He was taken aback.
