The entire room seemed to echo only with the sound of their intense heartbeats.
The two of them stared at each other wide-eyed, looking at each other...
This stalemate lasted for at least two minutes.
"Uh-huh." Abiao suddenly made a sound.
His body rolled off the bed, clutching his stomach that had just been kicked.
It felt like his stomach had been kicked through in that moment.
Wa Da jumped off the bed, said nothing, and rushed out of Abiao's room.
Abiao sat on the ground, watching Wa Da escape in a flustered manner. He wasn't sure if it was his imagination, but he seemed to see Wa Da's blushing cheeks, a rare moment of shyness.
He was actually still a bit flustered.
His heart still racing uncontrollably.
Abiao leaned against the wall, savoring the soft sensation on his lips.
He took out his phone and dialed a number.
The call connected, and a calm voice on the other side, seemingly unsurprised, asked, "Didn't succeed?"
"Yeah."
