At the dining table of the Yao Family villa.
In the magnificent dining room, the whole family sat together, eating quietly.
Taking advantage of Qiao Xiguan's inattention, Yao's mother prepared to secretly feed Niannian with a small bowl.
"Mom, let Niannian eat by herself," Qiao Xiguan said directly, her eyes focused.
It seemed to happen every time, Yao's mother would pamper Niannian to no end whenever she wasn't paying attention.
"She's still young, she'll be able to eat by herself when she's a bit older," Yao's mother persuaded.
"Niannian needs to practice on her own, don't spoil her," Qiao Xiguan said firmly.
Yao's mother, helpless, had to put down Niannian's bowl and chopsticks, gently patting Niannian's head to comfort her, "Niannian, you're the best, you can eat by yourself, right?"
"Grandma, I can eat by myself," Niannian nodded obediently.
Qiao Xiguan seemed to smile a little, watching Niannian pick up the spoon herself, struggling to eat.
