Darkness was not new to Tsuki.
She had lived her whole life in the dark and was used to it. But this one here was a different kind of darkness.
She was helpless, in the dark, lonely, and defeated in all ways, even as her Erasthai fell to the ground, a poisoned blade in her heart, like she had wanted to do this for the longest time.
It was the worst punishment for Tsuki, and she hated herself even more. She was never one for emotions, so she just walked over to where Lola had fallen, her eyes holding back tears as she wondered what the fuck this meant for her and for Tsuki.
"I'm sorry, Tsuki. But I can't live in a world that doesn't see you happy. With me, you won't be happy. You know it. I know it too. Whatever happens, I hope you remember that you are loved.
"…Not just by me, but by everyone in your circle. And I… I'm truly sorry for everything," Lola forced out coherently, so that anyone would think that she had stabbed her heart.
