It was something so unexpected, but Lola had reminded herself to stay alert even then, because anything from her that Kiyomi didn't like, and they would have a repeat of what they did to each other at the Nidoto camp.


This place was way too dangerous for such a thing to repeat itself, even though it was Kiyomi's manor at this moment. Maybe there would be a repeat some other day, but until then, there wasn't anything to negotiate about right now.
