[SAKURA]
Time was a construct in Doiwa.
That was what Sakura Watanabe was slowly coming to terms with even as she stared at her beloved standing beside the one woman she had left the dungeons to come and question before killing.
It was something that the queen had deemed so simple and one that wouldn't take her time, and yet as she watched Kiyomi stand there, in a white bodycon dress, Sakura wasn't just what she needed to think of right now.
And for a moment she just stared.
Shamelessly.
Like this was some dream that she had thought would even come to this extent.
Like this was an illusion she had never thought she would ever be ready for.
She stared like she was scared of blinking and all of it going away.
Her Kiyomi was staring at her too, but unlike the shocked look on Sakura's face, Kiyomi wore a smile. A beautiful smile that had the queen's heart racing. Sakura wasn't sure what she was supposed to hold onto, or even start believing right now.
