"When did your humanity switch flip back on… was it ever off?" Kiyomi asked, her tone blank, her eyes empty, and her posture stiff like she was scared of the answer that she would cough it from Sakura.
Perhaps it was then that she realized that there were so many games.
Kiyomi knew what this would mean.
She understood damn well what the answer could be. And she hated to even think that this was not what she had thought. She hated the possibility that Sakura snapped Elif's neck when her humanity was on.
When she was able to remember that Elif meant so much to Kiyomi.
When she could have known that she had made the human an unconditional promise, and yet had managed to break it.
Kiyomi had pondered over that little thought since she had woken up and it was still haunting her because life was not supposed to be that cruel; The universe was always shitty but surely it couldn't be that shitty and cruel to her right?
