So… you're probably wondering what happened for me to vanish for two whole months, right?
Another accident? Some mysterious illness? Or did I finally abandon the fanfic?
Well… the truth is far more tragic: I was without internet.
Yes. Two full months offline.
Yeah… it's something even worse than working.
Anyway, I came here to tell you a few things and how I feel about the fanfic.
During that time without internet (literally because I was too broke to pay the monthly fee), I reached a new state of existence… enlightenment — also known as "spending so much time touching grass that I started reflecting on my life choices."
And among those reflections, I ended up rereading my fanfics — and, shockingly, I realized something: this fanfic completely went off the rails.
Revisiting the chapters, I noticed there was a lot going on, and even more promises of future events. The plot got so tangled and complex that I still don't understand how I managed to keep things coherent up to the end of the U.A. Esports Festival.
But after that… it was pure chaos. Especially that whole part with the reincarnated people from other dimensions — I don't know what was going through my head. It must've seemed like a cool idea at the time, but I never thought about the colossal amount of work it would take to make it all fit together.
To be honest, if I wanted to "save" this fanfic, I'd have to restart everything from the end of the U.A. Esports Festival.
But here's the problem...
Remember when I said I reached enlightenment? Well, during one of my "morning reflective writing sessions," I had a divine revelation:
"What if I made a fanfic about Gamma Jack in MHA?"
And that's when the dilemma was born.
Right now, I'm torn between continuing and rewriting this fanfic, or starting a new one: MHA – Gamma.
The second option is really tempting because — surprisingly — there's not a single MHA fanfic out there focused on Gamma Jack. And I already have a bunch of wild ideas for it.
It would be a mixed universe: My Hero Academia x The Incredibles.
With characters from both worlds, and the MC wouldn't be a reincarnated guy, but rather a son Gamma Jack had with a random pro-hero — one he decided to abandon.
Oh, and his dad's gonna get into trouble before get killed by Syndrome.
I even thought about a humanoid Omnidroid and— oops, I'm already giving too many spoilers.
Anyway, I think you got the idea.
