Flora walked towards the elevator. She was going for the audition but Sonia decided to walk alone. Flora didn't know what came over Sonia ,"it could be mood swing " flora thought. All eyes were on her . She was used to it anyway. Workers were whispering as she was about to go in . " What is so special about entering an elevator " she said almost audible.
As she was about stepping in someone grabed her hand . She turned around only to see it was the movie goddess Wu Lin. She was lost of words. She was face to face with the famous goddess of beauty and drama.
"Know your place" Wu Lin said. Wu Lin was a proud lady of about the same age as Flora . Flora quick enough to see the bitterness in Wu Lin's words . Flora was a cheerful person. Though, she respect Wu Lin but she was never going to let her take advantage of that. If she was going to walk here she would not want to cause trouble for herself by fighting with the renowned goddess.
" Okay " flora said. She looked up to see the sign above. "VIP" she whispered to herself.
She didn't want Wu Lin to have a wrong idea of her .
" Wu Lin ?" " I'm really sorry. I didn't know it was for VIP's " flora said aloud
But then she thought " what was wrong in going through there" . The security guards that were supposed to be in their positions returned . When they saw Wu Lin , they were agitated. Wu Lin didn't spare them a look . She walked into the elevator.
Wu Lin smiled inside the elevator. Her subordinate didn't know why she smiled. They really could not predict her . She was always aloof.
Flora turned back " that was embarrassing" she said . She turned to another elevator. Because of what transpired she took a good look at the sign before entering.
Sure enough, this one led to the audition room. Sonia was already sitted
"What to you long " Sonia said
Flora didn't know her to break the news " I met Wu Lin " she said in a low voice
Sonia raised her eyebrows. Yeah she was shocked. She had tried so many times to meet Wu Lin. She really wanted keep in touch with her for the elevation of her career. Flora had been in the city for just two months. And she coincidentally met Wu Lin?
"Ohh, that's good to hear" Sonia replied
The audition was about to start. Each of them were given the same role to play. They were going to play the heroine. That was the main part of the audition. If perhaps they found someone, the remaining characters would be played by the next 15 persons. They were much there. Flora just stood there watching the crowd. She prayed silently to win. She didn't forget praying her friend also.
The back door unexpectedly. She saw the crowd giving space for someone to pass. The security was much." Who the hell was coming in ?" She said.
Flora was utterly bewildered." Could it be Wu Lin "she asked someone close to her. "Nope, it's the boss "
". The boss?" Flora repeated. " I heard he was going to watch us perform. He is one of the judges " the guy next to her said. He was about 23 years old. He had a good physical appearance. He was tall, with black eyes. He looked like someone she met before, probably at the airport. " Nevermind" she said to herself
Everybody wanted to get a glimpse at the boss including herself . The place was somehow crowded. Soon, the audition started. She watched various acting skills and found fault in some. It wasn't that she felt like a pro but the character they were going to act was aloof and cold ." Flora Mac Len" someone called out her name. Yeah, it was her turn to act. She walked out very confidently. All eyes were fixed on her . It was obvious she was eye catching. She was acting the character of a princess named Hu Mie
She cleared her throat and began. She was given a script to read. She actually knows the story line by heart . She started by singing. Hu Mie was known for her beautiful voice. The moment she sang, every one turned to take a good look at her. Her voice was soft like a cherry blossom flower falling down. Wu Lin was amazed by her outstanding performance.
She acted extreme. Her eyes showed youthfulness. Every one was captivated by her acting. There was a particular eye watching her every move. She noticed it but when she turned back his back faced her. He walked away without turning after giving an instruction to Wu Lin .
After everything the position of the female protagonist was given to Flora. Sonia got to act like Hu Mie's jealous step sister. Sonia was angry with the whole line up. " Would Flora always get everything she wanted" she thought.
Flora was sent to Wu Lin's office for further arrangements.
"Lin lin, do you think this is right?" Her secretary asked .
"I'm certain " Wu Lin smirked
Flora was really perplexed because this wouldn't look like the kind of place Wu Lin would use . The room was okay but definitely not what she expected. Suddenly, there was smoke everywhere. It was really choking
" Who's there?" She shouted several times . " Help, help" she kept shouting for help
" Open it " Wu Lin's voice came from behind her secretary
The door was pushed open by some security men. Flora walked out from there hurriedly. What would Wu Lin gain in punishing her? Flora thought to herself.
" You seem to like her" Wu Lin's secretary said to her
Wu Lin smirked and left.
'Why would Wu Lin stoop so low?' This questions ran in Flora's mind.
"Wu Lin , was that really necessary?" Lu Quing asked her. His sister was really getting out of control. Yeah, Wu Lin is his sister. Her full name was Lu Wu Lin .
" Go there and apologize" Lu Quing commanded. Wu Lin was taken aback . She daughter of the great Lu family apologize to someone who doesn't deserve it!! She was more shocked at her brother's outburst.
"Lin lin, what I'm trying to say is that, it wasn't the right time for you to play a prank on her" Lu Quing said softly. " I understand" Lin lin said. Nevertheless, she did as her brother instructed her. She walked up to Flora as she was about leaving
" Flora Mac Len , I'm sorry about what happened earlier" Lin lin said
OMG! Was her beauty goddess apologizing to her ?
"I don't have any issues Lin lin " she said rather friendly.
Wu Lin was taken aback for a moment. She just called her Lin lin. It was only family relatives and loved ones that address her like that. "But, it does not matter " Wu Lin thought.
When Flora got back home, she was surprised to see her luggages outside. " What is up with Sonia?" She reasoned . Sonia droped a note saying " my relatives are coming to stay with me. It was a short notice. Besides, there's no enough room for us . Hope you find a place soon. Congratulations for your big win today. "
" Is this what all this is all about? Because I get to play the heroine" . Sonia was the one who insisted on her staying with her without paying and now she decided to kick her out in the middle of the night!! Flora was furious. She new Sonia wasn't happy with her but she never thought she would punish her like this. How would she find a place to stay at this time ? She walked down the road with her two heavy bags. The sound of thunder echoed everywhere. She was drenched in rain . Even nature seem to be against her.
' Pee-peep ' the sound of a car horn sounded at her back. The man's eyes were fixed in the figure walking
" Sir, should I walk over to her? " His secretary asked.
"Hmmm" he nodded
Flora didn't walk any further. Her eyes were glued at the car that was parked at the road side. She didn't know if she should walk over to the person and ask for a favour but what if they were kidnappers???
