Chapter 1 - Fairy tale ( pilot)

I heard a story from my home Kingdom, —a story about two lovers who know nothing about love.

In the magical world of the Ember Empire, a fascinating love story became the empire's greatest legend. This tale spread from gossip to gossip, filling the newspapers and capturing every conversation. It was the topic on everyone's lips.

At the center of the story is a famed war hero—masculine physique, blond hair like golden apple in the myth, and piercing sky blue eyes like the goddess. Born into a powerful family, he is admired as a gentleman, a devoted son, and the ideal lover.

His partner is equally captivating—golden-haired, her eyes is vibrant shade of fresh apples , and a gentle spirit. Together, they seem like a perfect, fairy-tale couple, admired by all.

But cracks appear. Arguments turn bitter, and in a rash attempt to provoke jealousy, she kisses another man. To her, it means nothing—but to him, a man of honor, it is an unforgivable betrayal. Wounded and angry, he proposes instead to a loyal soldier—a simple woman with brown hair and brown eyes. A peasant.

Motivated by her own thirst for revenge, the female lead decides to embrace merriage as well, venturing into an unhappy marriage. The male lead's new wife faces relentless hostility from others, subjected to cruel insults such as "ugly duckling," "thief," and "cuckoo" To compound her suffering, her in-laws make her life unbearable, tormenting her due to her background as a soldier.

Despite the cruel treatment, she clings to the belief that her husband's love for her persists, drawing solace from his words.

His wife's world falls apart when she sees her husband passionately kissing his former lover. Heartbroken and betrayed, she demands a divorce. But he refuses. When she confronts him, he brushes it off as a mistake and coldly walks away.

Determined to leave, she turns to her in-laws for support—but they reject her too, making things even harder. Still, she refuses to back down.

Gathering her courage, she signs the divorce papers and sends them to her husband. Enraged, he throws the papers in her face his wife passed out.

Determined, she sends him divorce papers. Enraged, he throws them in her face, and she collapses. A doctor's visit reveals a shocking truth—she's pregnant, though everyone thought it impossible

While he hopes the child will make her stay, she resolves not to let a baby trap her in a loveless marriage. She decides she will not keep it.

Her husband locks her in a lonely, empty room, forcing her to live in misery and isolation. As her mind grows weaker, she tries to harm herself, but the people around her stop her each time. In this fragile state, she gives birth to twins ' but she didn't even remeber'—a boy and a girl—who both look exactly like her husband. Terrified and unable to accept them as her own, she tries to hurt the babies and kill one of the baby or two of them. To stop her, her husband ties her up, trapping her and turning her into nothing more than a lifeless shell.

Two years pass, and she remains bound, living like a corpse. But one day, a spark of strength returns. Gathering all her courage, she escapes, leaving behind her life of pain and hopelessness. No one knows for sure what happened to her afterward, but whispers spread—some say her husband found her and ended her life, erasing her from the world foreverrrrr...

"So is she dead?" The girl inquired, her voice filled with curiosity, "Is she really dead?" Maid, engrossed in her task of cleaning the floor, glanced at her lady and offered a gentle smile. "Who can say for sure? " she replied. "It's merely a gossip, after all," she reassured. However, the little girl remained dissatisfied with this response. "But why?" she persisted, her tone irresistibly adorable. "It was a topic for the newspaper in the past when I was there " maid replyed

The little lady, filled with frustration and sadness, turned to her maid, Mary. "So they're both stupid? They ruined their relationship, and even hurt an innocent woman. This isn't a fairy tale."

Mary, understanding the girl's emotions, tried to offer some perspective. " Well for that time people didn't like the woman who married to prince."

the lady's eyes revealed her deep concern as she asked, " really, but there nothing wrong with her she loved him and merry him. He basically used him." Lady said.

"But she knew he didn't love her—his heart belonged to someone else. She married him anyway," the maid said.

"But the prince married the girl, not the other way around," the lady replied.

"Well… I don't know my lady ,."

"Okay, but did she really kill her babies?"

"The paper said both babies died, but no one knows who killed who. Some say they were stillborn, and that's why the girl went mad . It's just a story, my lady."

"Like my mother always says—every story has a little truth in it, " the lady said.

"Perhaps the duchess is right," the maid agreed.

"If I were the girl, I wouldn't do that."

"Not kill her babies?" The maid smiled.

"Of course not—and I wouldn't run away. Running away never solves anything."

"Like when you ran from the little Lord?" the maid teased.

"That's different... I mean, in the story, the prince actually loved his wife. If I were her, I wouldn't care about anything else—I'd use that to my advantage."

"Okay… that's a different perspective, I'll admit. But why do you think he loved her?"

"She killed his babies and he didn't blame her. Keeping her close, maybe she really was sick—and that's how he could control her. "

"Well, I don't know," the maid said.

"But Mary, why did you tell me this story now? What am I supposed to do? You've scared me," the lady said.

"I just wanted to distract you… and I guess it worked," Mary said.

"Like this? Mary, how is this a distraction? I need to see my fiancé. and you know I like someone else. "

"My lady, it's just a formality. Nothing more." Maid said.

"Then why do I have to see him?" Lady said

"Because it's the formality." Maid said

"So when is he coming? Should I prepare something?" Lady said.

"Not necessary. I think he'll be here soon."maid said.

"Okay, let's go then what are we waiting for" Lady said.

"I have work to do, my lady. May or Meg will be accompanying you," the maid said.

"Stop lying, Mary. I know you're lying."

"The master has ordered me to prepare the chambers for the guest.Im really busy my lady" maid said

"Mary, believe me—just because my fiancé saw you, he will not report you missing. He wouldn't even know who you are. And as for your ex-husband… I cannot imagine he would ever find you. He is but a peasant," the lady assured her.

"My lady, that's not what I mean." Maid said.

"I am the lady, and I want you there. That's final—please." Lady said.

"Mary, please," the lady begged.

"Yes, my lady. I find it difficult to refuse your requests," Mary said. But she was lying.
