Glen stood up despondently, hanging his head low.
He had just found out what he already knew but he never wanted to hear it from Henry himself.
I see…he would never like a guy in that way huh?
A sudden sharp pain hit his chest. He Sluggishly, put the books he was grasping on back in place and trudged out of the library squeezing his chest from beneath his clothes in an agonizing expression.
It was such a waste of time for him to love someone like Henry in the first place and he just needed a confirmation to stop for real.
It really was a waste of time.
His eyes teared up, he took a sniffly inhale and brought his phone out of his pocket to make a phone call.
"Manager, I'm really sorry…I can't make it to work today." His voice cracked.
< you've been quite dedicated in your work. What happened today?>
"My chest…it hurts." His eyes watered in anguish.
"I'm…really sorry manager."
"Thank you…"
Beep. His manager hung up the call.
…I got rejected before I even had the chance to confess…finally …I can get over this feeling.
His thoughts trailed.
… I need to cool my head…

Glen arrived at the front of a building with the sign board reading; [MIP CLUB BAR] he stood outside cautiously glancing around incase he'd see someone he knew.
He mustered some courage to make his way inside swerving through the crowd at the entrance. Inside the building were dark and of colorful neon lights, loud musics and bustling with people chitchatting, dancing, they all engaged in one activity and the other.
It was a first time for him to ever consider going to such a place, and so he wasn't sure how to act.
He gingerly surveyed the room and noticed a few guys throwing glances at him from a distance, it was quite an uncomfortable feeling for him.
He hastily took a sit on an empty table nervously.
Shortly, a male bartender fitted in a bartender uniform approached his sitting place with a round Trey in his hands.
"Do you want to order something?" The bartender asked him politely.
"M-menu, do you have one?" He responded awkwardly.
"Here."
The bartender handed it to him and stood patiently waiting for him to make his order.
He picked a simple but cheap liquor that he could afford and the bartender walked away to get him his drink whilst he sat down there awkwardly throwing glances at the people inside the bar who were all properly fitted in nice and expensive wears, meanwhile he just had a T-shirt and his baggy jeans on.
"Your order." The waiter interrupted him setting down his drink in front of him.
"Thank you…"
He said in a low voice as he the waiter walked away to take orders from other customers. In front of his table was a full bottle of liquor which he never had before but since he was in a place such as that, he wanted to try it.
He poured some amount in his shot cup and chugged the first cup scrunching his face due to the strong alcoholic taste, going for a second shot when he halted his hands halfway as he recalled the conversation between Williams and Henry at the library which he wished he didn't over hear.
I should've stayed oblivious till now…my life is so miserable.
He chugged the alcohol once more with a scrunching expression and exhaled loudly to releif the hot sensation of the alcohol in his throat.
Time slowed in his eyes as he chugged every shot continuously and soon began to feel dizzy. A red color fell on his pale face from the intoxication of the alcohol.
"Are you alone?"
An unknown voice followed with a tap on his shoulder interrupting him. He looked up dizzily and his eyes met a man in his mid 20s wearing a black face cap and a leather jacket, there was nothing really good looking about him, just a basic club man with a buzz cut.
"Yes?" Glen responded in a daze.
Noticing Glen was already quite wasted, a sudden wicked grin emerged on his lips and he sat closer to Glen groping his shoulders.
"You're cute. Wanna head out and go sober up?" He asked Grinning.

Meanwhile, Henry was unexpectedly in the club bar because his female friend, lydia forced him to show up. Her friends had been doubting that she'd ever pull Henry to a simple bar, she wanted to prove them wrong.
Even as they walked into the club bar, she griped his arm tight not letting go. "C'mon it's only for today. I told my friends I'd bring you by all means." She said enthusiastically as she pulled him relentlessly to the table where her friends were seated.
"Fuck." He cursed crinkling his face in annoyance as she pulled him. He already had an appointment that night and his friend Lydia was just being an impediment to his business.
"Hey Girls, guess who's here?!" She yelled tingling with excitement.
Stunned, one of the girls blotted out. "Oh my God you were freaking for real weren't you!?"
"Won't you join us handsome?" Another pulled him by his tie closer to her sliding her hands across his chest seductively. "We've been dying to mingle with this handsome gentleman for a while now."
"Hah…fuck." His face diverted from annoyance and his lips twisted into an amused grin. "I was supposed to hook up with someone today but, not bad. Let's have fun while the night is still young."
Henry sat down holding a glass of wine in between his ring finger and the middle finger twirling it.
Lydia suddenly jolted up as her eyes caught someone that piqued her interest from the crowd.
"Have fun guys, I'll catch y'all later."
She said and quickly wandered off.
One of the girl sat on his laps touching his body seductively, he was beginning to feel excited. His adams apple bounced up and down as he took a sip of the wine.
She pulled his face to hers kissing him affectionately, her hands slowly moved to his trousers groping him softly, another girl knelt before him caressing his chest, he cupped her chin and gave her an affectionate kiss.
Their activity piqued the attention of the other clubbers and they all began to watch them excitedly.
It was a crowded club anything can go down, but Henry was a scandalous person, he didn't even bat an eyes as people were beginning to watch them—he instead felt more aroused. What was happening in the club was merely a pinch of what he normally did at his private clubs and penthouses.
He continued to affectionately kiss the girl when his eyes caught Glen from a distant inside the club.
What the? He stopped kissing the girl to better look at who was unexpectedly in the club of all places.
"What's wrong?" The girl kissing him asked.
Isn't it that boy from school the other day? Wow, I always knew the ones who looked innocent did worse…look who's in the club, and who's that guy with him?.
His eyes diverted to the guy who was sitting close to him and groping his shoulders, Glen looked totally uncomfortable with the guy's company.
"That's none of my business." He muttered to himself and flipped his eye away from his direction.

The man was still being persistent about leaving the club to go outside and Glen was already becoming irritated by his persistence.
"Please, go away! I don't want to!" He blotted out loudly but the loud music muffled his voice. His eyes suddenly became watery, his emotions were already swaying due to the alcohol. " I did not come here to hook up with anyone…"
The man darted his eyes around the club, too many people were there but none seemed to be paying them any attention.
"Haha fuck." He laughed drly incredulously and stood up peeved mumbling to himself as he walked away from Glen.
Glen had already emptied the bottle of liquor and sat there with a brooding eye totally plastered. He covered his ears with a wincing expression as the loud club music seemed to suddenly make his head to ring.
"I need to go to the bathroom." He muttered to himself totally wasted and felt really dizzy immediately he stood up—staggering off swerving through people to get to the bathroom which he didn't even know the location.
The same guy that was pestering him earlier suddenly held him by his shoulder from behind. "I'll show you to the outside bathroom."
"I- I can go by myself." Glen slurred his words and escaped the man's grip staggering.
"Just follow me, I won't do anything strange to you." He shrugged his hands in a defensive manner. "I just want to help."
Glen narrowed his eyes at the unknown man dubiously, he didn't validate the man's request but the man went ahead to support him by his shoulder out of the club hastily forcing his pull.
"W-wait."
He said, but the man was already leading him out of the club area, he was totally intoxicated to react properly.
The man took him to an alley behind the clubhouse and watched him stagger brushing his body against the rough wall for support.
"Is it here?"
Glen enquired squinting his eyes through the dim alley, totally oblivious to what things were about to become.
