Vlad and Overlord immediately frowned when they saw the energy within the Vikings' totems begin to gather. Golden streams of power rose from every warrior, merging into a vast ocean of radiant energy that formed high above the Divine Dome.
The mass of power was immense—far denser than anything they had expected.
It pressed down upon the entire dome like an invisible ocean, so heavy that the air itself seemed to suffocate under its presence. Many of the weaker Vikings struggled to endure the drain as their totems released their stored energy.
Some collapsed to the ground, unconscious.
