Chapter 49 - Chapter 19: Decisive Battle of fallen Yava Viskans Part 2

The beast's attack was intended for the person behind Wlier, but he took it on his own body to save them. Wlier's hands started to cover in a dark purple color, and cracks started to form on the infected area.

Wlier swung his blade and beheaded that beast, then looked towards his arm, whose cracks worsened, revealing his muscles and bones which soon turned dark purple and started to crack. His skin and muscle started to fall apart.

In pain, he looked towards his arms and tried to endure the pain.

His body was shaking, he was barely able to breathe, and his eyes released tears, but he still stood still, holding his ground.

He looked towards his arms for the very last time and slashed another beast in the meantime. He looked towards the approaching beast and jumped sideways, then stabbed his blade inside its body.

The dark purple color started to reach his shoulder, but before it could, he made a decision. He took a deep breath to prepare himself for the upcoming thing. He dodged the beast's attack and at the same time, pulled his blade into his own arm.

He had put a cloth in his mouth and then freed his body from his own arm. The cloth inside his mouth was drenched in tears, saliva, and blood flowing through his lips and damaged part of his jaw. "Thud!" His arm fell on the ground with a sound, and he looked towards his enemies.

Blood was flowing out of his body at an alarming rate. His body fell to his knees due to weakness. He quickly tore a part of his dress to cover his wound and tried to stand, which he found difficult at first and was about to fall a few times, but he stood in his place, taking his stance.

He held his blade in his right hand with an uneasy breath and wet eyes, yet a determined one.

Back to Present

Carciyan and Tlenion started moving out of that area. "Carciyan, we have to do this," he said, holding Carciyan's shoulder and then starting to head towards the survivors.

Meanwhile, her battle with that beast began.

She launched herself directly inside the beast's body, and then everything turned silent. "What just happened?" Carciyan looked back and lost his balance. "I am fine," he said, trying to stand with Tlenion's help.

"What was that? We all… They all died for this," Carciyan said, punching his fist into the ground. His fist was covered in blood, but he didn't stop. "Carciyan, please stop," Tlenion tried his best to stop him but failed.

"Carciyan, beasts are here, get ready!" Tlenion said, pulling his string and firing an arrow at an approaching beast. Tlenion was firing his arrow and suddenly felt uneasy.

He turned back and saw, "CARCIYAN!" he shouted his name and fired around twenty-eight arrows towards him. Within four to five minutes, more than fifteen beasts trying to attack Carciyan were killed by Tlenion, but he had no break.

While attacking the beast, he shouted his name again and again but got no response. After trying for long, he, in anger, shouted, "CARCIYAN! Do you really think your death can mean a thing? Stand! Don't be a coward! Stand NOW!"

He held his bow guard more tightly, then held his string to his full strength. He held his stance; bluish energy moved from the guard to the back of the string.

As time passed, the arrow's energy started to turn more and more darkish purple and violet, and after a few seconds, it turned like the energy of those fallen ones before him.

He shouted for the very last time, "If you want to die, so be it, but remember, even if you die, we all will fight and die, but someone will... Someone will still carry on my and our legacy as I do."

He took a deep breath and added, "Because I am also a proud YAVA VISKAN." With these words, his eyes turned more bluish with a green tint. His body started to cover in bluish-violet energy, and his body was overflowing with energy, but it was different. It was different from earlier but similar to those before him.

Carciyan turned his head towards him to see him and saw a powerful wind gust wrapped around his body, moving towards the tip of his arrow. His body was filled with overflowing energy with violet, purplish, and bluish energy. The ground below his feet, or more accurately, below his arrow, started to crack, and a crater was formed below it.

The arrow was covered in dark energy, but its core was brighter than the bright sun. The entire area was covered in bluish light, which spread across at least hundreds of kilometers in area. But Tlenion stood his ground.

"Carciyan, if I die, carry on my legacy if you can." With these words and a smile, he released his arrow. The arrow moved at a very high speed. It pierced hundreds, if not thousands, of beasts, and the majority of their bodies flew away by the mere wind pressure exerted by the arrow.
