Within the Jade Scroll were many miraculous pill recipes, like the Nascent Soul Pill for cultivating to the Nascent Soul Realm, and elixirs corresponding to the Integration and Ascension Realms. All these elixirs had been painstakingly developed by Laozi through trial and error.
Although he had received the heritage of an Ancient Daoist Sect, many of the medicinal ingredients for these pill recipes were no longer available, preventing him from crafting the elixirs. He conducted his own research, formulating the elixirs based on their intended effects. Without any instruments to test the medicinal properties, he relied solely on his keen senses, just like Shennong tasting a hundred herbs. Gradually, he composed many wondrous elixirs.
