Carson Flores laughed heartily and tilted his head: "Thanks for the guidance, Fellow Taoist."
The middle-aged Taoist laughed: "Winning means leaving entirely, that's true victory. Otherwise, all gains might just be an illusion."
Carson Flores nodded in agreement: "Makes sense."
Carson didn't rush to chat with the Taoist but seriously gambled, yet he followed the bets of the middle-aged Taoist every time, making the situation slightly intriguing.
Following bets is quite common in gambling halls. Whoever is on a winning streak is whom others choose to follow, and whoever is having bad luck, you bet the opposite. For ordinary gamblers, this is the simplest and most effective strategy.
Carson followed him for five or six rounds, sometimes winning, sometimes losing, but overall he gained some.
On the seventh round, Carson continued to follow.
