-------------------------------------------------------------
Madara, fighting at full strength, immediately began to give Kaguya trouble.
Kaito saw it clearly—though Kaguya possessed power that surpassed all, she could not perfectly wield it.
When the gap in strength between two combatants was too vast, she could effortlessly crush her opponent with sheer overwhelming force.
But now, facing Madara at his peak, she was starting to struggle.
At this moment, Madara possessed the Rinnegan, a body reconstructed from the Divine Tree as his vessel, another transplanted eye from Shisui (stolen from Itachi) to replenish his ocular power, and the Sage Art Cursed Seal developed by Kaito. His current strength far surpassed even his prime in life.
Perhaps compared to Kaguya—who now wielded the Ten-Tails' chakra and endlessly absorbed the chakra of the world through the Divine Tree—Madara still fell far short in raw power.
Yet, with battle skills as precise and fluid as a surgeon's scalpel, executed with artistic brilliance, he forcibly suppressed Kaguya, the terrifying progenitor of chakra, in a short span of time.
"See that?! He's too strong!! Madara!!"
Hashirama was exhilarated, unconsciously slapping Tobirama's shoulder with excessive force as he laughed with pride.
"What does that have to do with you, big brother?!"
Tobirama's face darkened another shade. He was annoyed—extremely annoyed.
"Madara is my best friend! My inspiration!"
Hashirama proudly raised a thumbs-up.
"Tch."
Tobirama felt as if he had just swallowed something vile. He turned his head away, preferring not to see.
"Still as formidable as ever… Uchiha Madara."
Ōnoki, whose emotions had already been thrown into turmoil by Tsunade's earlier revelation, now watched Madara's full-powered battle with a complicated heart. For a moment, it was as if he had been transported back to his youth.
Decades ago, his sole encounter with Uchiha Madara had left an indelible mark on the young Ōnoki—an overwhelming pressure and awe that remained vivid even now.
And today, having exhausted all paths in his long life yet still finding no way to surpass him, that same despair from his youth began to resurface.
To think that even at my age… I would have to experience this despair again.
A bitter expression surfaced on Ōnoki's aged face.
Most of the adult shinobi present shared Ōnoki's sentiments. Watching Madara's overwhelming combat prowess, a sense of hopelessness and bitterness welled up in their hearts.
But the younger generation was different.
Naruto, Sasuke, and Neji watched Madara's battle with unblinking focus, as if infected by his soaring fighting spirit. Their chests swelled with fearless valor.
I want—
I want to become a shinobi that strong!!!
All three trembled slightly from excitement.
Madara's battle was not a mere clash of brute force, nor was it a straightforward exchange of blows.
He wielded every ounce of his power with flawless precision. Facing an opponent far stronger than himself, he showed no fear—dancing on the edge of a blade, yet moving with effortless grace, advancing and retreating with perfect control.
With peerless combat skill, he forcibly bridged the gap in raw power between himself and Kaguya.
This… was a perfect battle, where strength and technique intertwined seamlessly!!
The three youths' faces flushed red, their breathing rapid as they immersed themselves completely in the spectacle before them.
At some point, the rest of the Uchiha clansmen had already withdrawn. Even Izuna had silently returned to Kaito's side.
Now, at the center of the formation, only Madara remained—standing alone against Kaguya, dancing in solitary splendor.
Sasuke forced himself to stay calm, his Mangekyō Sharingan spinning at full speed as he desperately absorbed every detail of the battle.
He had never witnessed combat like this before. Even Madara's fight against Isshiki Ōtsutsuki had not been this awe-inspiring.
Neji, while observing Madara, focused more intently on Kaguya's movements.
He understood—she was the strongest wielder of the Byakugan. If he could glean even the most basic insights into how she utilized her eyes, it would benefit him immensely in the future.
Naruto, however, simply felt like his eyes weren't enough.
A fire burned in his chest, yet he had no outlet for it.
This battle was unlike anything he had ever seen. His body screamed at him to join the fray, yet the last vestiges of his rationality held him back, suppressing the impulse.
