"Go ahead, be negative. You'll be just my type." Vladimir, The Crimson Reaper (Homomancer)
Yo... why is every one of Vlad's voice lines just puns?
I call him Homomancer because he is a gay vampire... so yeah...
Heads up btw, I will be travelling on the 8th to the 10th. So no chapters on the 8th and the 9th.
G2 lost baby! We take those! Lets go FLY!

"Yes." Eileen replied. "It has to be." She displayed the crest on the envelope. "That is the official Crownguard crest. This cannot be false."
Willa's hand rose to her mouth in shock as she looked at the letter in absolute shock. "He.. He started the fight by going against two hundred men alone?" She looked up at Eileen wide eyed. "How is that possible?"
"Dad can do it." Sydell interrupted.
Willa looked at the child and smiled, "Of course he can child." She had assumed Sydell truly believed that his father was invincible and was speaking out in support of that.
"Read further." Eileen said.
Willa looked back down at the letter, "He faced the supposed strongest mage out of them, Sylas, the Kingslayer- OH!" Fear crept onto Willa's face and she looked toward Eileen. She remembered the mage uprising that took place the previous year. "Him?"
Eileen nodded before pointing, "Read further."
Willa looked back down and continued reading, "Transformed into a larger form and then killed the criminal while also singlehandedly stopping the war within his magic?" Willa's tone turned questioning at the end of that.
Eileen nodded, "There is much about Gregori that you do not know about."
"He transformed?" Sydell asked.
"That is what the letter says." Willa replied.
Sydell fell into thought, "Then he will be weaker for a while." He muttered. Then he turned to Willa, "Can you make a lot of food when he comes back?" He asked.
Willa nodded but she still asked, "What does that have to do with-"
"He becomes very tired when he transforms." Rell answered as she walked in with the others in tow. "The last time he transformed, he was quite weak for a week. Though it has gotten better recently, he still becomes very tired."
"Though I wonder why he transformed." Daani spoke up. "There is no way he needed to do that against the innocent criminal."
"Heh... innocent criminal..." Daisy chuckled.
Faye gave her the side eye.
"What?" Daisy got defensive. "It was funny."
She rolled her eyes on response.
"What is this transformation?" Willa asked clearly out of the loop and completely clueless about his transformation.
"Daddy and Uncle Caalyx combine their magic and become very strong." Annie answered, Tibbers clutched in her hands, though the bear seemed quite limp.
"Uncle Caalyx?" Willa asked.
Faye nodded sagely, "He is a living spear."
"Magical artifact." Eileen offered a simpler explanation.
Willa nodded hesitantly.
Then came a couple knocks on the door.
Eileen frowned at the sound and then waved the children to go further inside. Her face turned serious as the change in expression did not go unnoticed by the children.
She slowly reached the door and put her ear against it.
No sound.
With a hand on her sword, she pulled the door open a very small amount.
"Daughter." The person in front of her said.
Eileen sighed, "Father."
"Will you be letting us in?" Her father asked.
Her mother stood right next to him, with a haughty expression on her face.
"Why are you here?" She asked.
Maer put on a hurt expression, "Why can't we? Does it seem that impossible for two grandparents to come visit their grandchildren?"
Vale looked at her daughter and spoke, "Titan is still our son and his children are our grandchildren."
"Is it just you two?" Eileen asked.
"Of course!" Maer answered feeling victorious at how fast he had gotten them inside.
Eileen pulled the door open and let the two in.
"You are my daddy's parents?" Annie asked as she stood in front clutching her bear.
Both the Spiritmight's eyes landed on the girl.
"Red hair." Vale recounted Gregori's words. "You are of our blood."
Annie squinted at them.
Maer put on a soft smile and squatted to her eye level. "Hello child.... we are your grandparents. It is very nice to meet you."
Annie brought Tibbers close to her and nodded shyly.
Vale looked at the other children, "And you are his other children?"
The children nodded one by one. Rell stood off to the side while keeping her eyes on the two, looking to see if they made any sudden movements.
"Nice to meet you all." Maer spoke. "We are Titan's parents. Your grandparents."
"Gregori." Daisy corrected.
"Hm?" Maer looked at the child.
Daisy didn't back down, "Daddy's name. It is Gregori."
Vale looked at the girl and shook her head, "It is his Demacian name. It is the name I gave him. Gregori sounds like a name for a commoner."
"No it isn't." Sydell shook his head.
"Well that is fine." Maer shifted the topic as he relented, "Willa you could have talked to us if you wanted to leave."
Willa shook her head. "Milord I am old. My bones are not what they used to be. I want to spend my retirement looking after children." She turned to the children, "And here are a bunch of cute little children I can take care of."
"Then I suggest you pack up." Maer announced. He looked to everyone, "All of you."
"Why?" Eileen frowned. Something seemed off.
Vale stepped in, "Why? Is it that unbelievable for us grandparents to host our son and grandchildren for the duration of their stay?"
Eileen almost laughed at her acting. She could smell some kind of plan brewing in the back.
Annie suddenly looked toward her bear and then to her siblings.
"Tibbers says that there are a lot of people coming toward us." She informed them.
"What?" The adults all looked confused.
Rell stepped forward, "Are they armed?"
Annie looked at Tibbers once again and then she nodded toward Rell.
"Oooh!" Daisy exclaimed, "I can fight now! Wait let me get my sword!" She ran to her room in order to get out her weapon.
Eileen looked at Annie as she guessed what the girl was doing. "Are there really people coming here?"
Annie nodded, "Tibbers doesn't lie."
"Is Tibbers your bear?" Eileen asked.
Annie nodded. "He is very strong."
"Of course he is." Willa said. "Now let us get you all somewhere safe."
"No." Sydell countered. "We fight."
Willa shook her head, "No it is not safe."
Rell shook her head, "You do not know what we can do."
"ARGH!!"
"AAAAGH!"
Two screams were heard outside.
Eileen immediately rushed to the door and peeked out of a small gap.
What she saw had her shaking.
Multiple bodies on the ground. Ripped to pieces. Shredded.
"Completely harmless?" She muttered. "What kind of lie is that?"
"Oh Oompa and Loompa are fighting!" Daisy said as she peeped from under Eileen, her sword in hand.
Her eyes fell downward, "You knew about this?"
Daisy nodded as if it was nothing, "Yeah? They are Avalance beasts. They are one of the most dangerous creatures in the Freljord. Only Draklorn ride them. Daddy got these two after he fought off an entire group of Draklorn alone."
"Well are we going or not?" Sydell asked.
Eileen looked at the boy outside the door and said, "No!" She stilled for a moment. "How did you get out?"
Sydell pointed to the window on the right.
"Come inside right now!" Eileen ordered, "You have to defend. Not attack. They are coming to us."
"Daddy is coming soon." Annie responded. "Tonight."
"How do you know?" Eileen asked.
Annie held out Tibbers.
Eileen took a long breath before grabbing Sydell and pulling him inside.
Sydell looked out and called, "Oompa! Loompa! Come in!"
The two beasts looked at Sydell and roared. They knocked away the enemies near them and bounded toward the door.
Some of the assassins shot their arrows at the beasts.
But as they came closer, they froze in the air.
Rell pushed Eileen to the side and had her hand outstretched. Her ferromancy kicking in as she waved her hand, like she had seen her father do so many times before.
The arrow spun around in place and shot toward the assassins.
"What was that?" Maer exclaimed as he could see past the door with it ajar.
Rell smirked, "Magic."
She then moved to the side as the two beasts entered the house.
Eileen looked at the beasts in fear but Faye walked up and closed the doors before turning to the beasts and patting the parts of their fur not covered in blood.
"Well done!"
"Does Tibbers want to fight?" Daani asked Annie.
Annie shook her head. "Only when it gets very dangerous."
"So you will fight?" He asked as he flexed his hand, a ball of blue magic floated above his palm.
Annie nodded as she held out her arm and opened up her palm. A ball of fire lit up on it.
"Well you can cover all the entrances." Sydell said. "I'll take the top."
"The top?" Willa asked.
Sydell gave her a smile and jumped upward.
Everyone looked upward as Sydell stood on the ceiling, defying gravity. "The top." He confirmed.
"This... is magic?" Vale asked in shock.
