Aksai looked at his own Aether Wisp sinking deep into the water with a thoughtful look on his face.
He was pleasantly surprised to find that he had progressed so much in the initial stage of the Aether Wisp Mastery Realm just by devouring the soul of the ghost who had possessed Loken.
What had arrived as a hidden curse had turned out to be a blessing in disguise.
"Hmm. I had planned to use Aether techniques to cultivate further in the Aether path. I always knew I would be left behind in this path if I didn't do something extreme. After all, I can't cultivate all three paths at once and expect to make huge progress in all of them at the same time.
"So I had decided to hunt for a higher-realm beast and replace the Verdant Elder in order to achieve instant progress in the Aether path. That way, my Mind Cultivation wouldn't fall too far behind compared to the Spirit and Body paths.
