What is a god?
No matter which ancient star of immortal cultivation, no matter which world, no matter what cultivation system, there is a similar or near-identical definition for a god. That is the authority to wield the Laws of Heaven and Earth.
The power that enforces the laws of flame is the Fire God! The power that enforces the laws of water is the Water God! A god is an enforcer of the Laws of Heaven and Earth, an incarnation of the Law, a representative of the Dao.
