Ye Zhiwen and Chen Xueying might have already messed around countless times, but they still hadn't registered their marriage officially. By all standards, their relationship was just improper fooling around before.
From the room came bursts of laughter and giggles. "You want us to open the door? Fine, brother-in-law, hand over the red envelopes first!"
Inside the room were some of Chen Xueying's bridesmaids.
Good grief, more red envelopes! Ye Zhiwen was practically fuming with frustration.
"The red envelopes are no problem. Just open the door first, and I'll give you more at the reception later," he said.
After all, they'd all be relatives in the future, and Ye Zhiwen wasn't one to sweat over a bit of money.
However, Chen Xueying's bridesmaids weren't so easy to deal with. No money, no opening the door.
As the moments ticked by, Ye Zhiwen grew increasingly exasperated. Finally, he had no choice but to knock on the door of his future father- and mother-in-law.
