Chapter 7 - Chapter 7 The Arrival of the God of Hongmeng_1

Sky Dragon World, Manduo Mountain Village.

Murong Fu prayed devoutly, anxious and apprehensive, yet filled with anticipation.

The wind and clouds in the heavens above suddenly underwent a drastic change. The jade stone altar emitted dazzling divine lights. Its patterns seemed to come alive, and the sacrificial animals upon it let out deafening roars.

BOOM, BOOM, BOOM.

The ropes that confined them suddenly snapped.

What's going on? Murong Fu was greatly startled, not understanding what had happened. Could it be that the Divine Spirit is not satisfied?

Before he could think further, the sacrificial animals suddenly soared into the sky. As they ascended, beams of golden light burst forth from them. Their bodies grew exponentially, and their auras strengthened rapidly. Even Murong Fu, who had reached the cultivation level of a Great Grandmaster, felt a stifling pressure. Li Qingluo, Bao Butong, and the others fared even worse, collapsing to the ground, frightened and uneasy.

MOO.

Accompanied by a high-pitched bovine cry, the ox transformed into a hundred-meter-tall behemoth. Its body radiated endless divine light, and a holy aura spread outwards, sweeping across the land like a Bull God.

Following suit, two large roosters grew massively in size. Their feathers transformed, turning them into two Green Phoenixes with hundred-meter wingspans. The powerful divine might of these Divine Beasts filled every inch of space.

The remaining sacrificial animals—sheep, dogs, and others—all transformed into Divine Beasts.

The grains metamorphosed, radiating divine light, brimming with vitality, and releasing an invigorating fragrance.

Gold, silver, jewels, and jade stones all transformed into pieces of potent Divine Gold and Divine Jade.

Countless Martial Arts Secret Books shattered, transforming into brilliant, golden runes. These runes coalesced into a sacred halo, within which countless Martial Arts Essences materialized. Murong Fu, Bao Butong, and the other Martial Artists saw that sacred halo and felt as though they had glimpsed the Dao, the very end of the Martial Path.

"A miracle... This is truly a miracle!"

"The great God of Hongmeng has manifested His divinity!"

"My heavens! The sacrificial animals have actually transformed into such terrifying Divine Beasts! The grains have become Divine Valley... Is this the power of a god?"

"It's too terrifying!"

Everyone was stunned. Although they had recited the "Meditation Method" and knew that the God of Hongmeng was a True God, the scene before them still overturned their understanding of the world. All of them knelt, prostrating themselves and kowtowing continuously. They trembled all over, a mixture of excitement, nervousness, and terror.

If these cattle, sheep, pigs, and dogs have all become Divine Beasts, then what about Yuyan and Ah Zhu... Murong Fu looked towards Wang Yuyan and Ah Zhu. He saw them slowly levitating, enveloped in boundless divine light. Their auras surged wildly, and in an instant, they surpassed even the Divine Beasts.

Wang Yuyan wore a white dress. She had a classic oval face, willow-leaf eyebrows, bright eyes, and pearly teeth. Calm and elegant, her waterfall of black hair cascaded to her waist. Her skin was like smooth alabaster, fair and delicate. Her figure, like a swaying willow, was graceful and captivating. Endless divine light emanated from her, making her appear like an Immortal, a Goddess—sacred and inviolable. The surrounding Divine Beasts, as imposing as mountains, could only submit before her, cowering and trembling. The space around her twisted, cracking open with menacing fissures.

Ah Zhu, dressed in red, possessed a peerless grace. With a faint smile, she stood beside Wang Yuyan, equally stunning and matchless in her beauty.

Has Yuyan become a god? Li Qingluo's eyes widened. Amidst her joyful surprise, she was filled with envy, desperately wishing she could have sacrificed herself instead. Unfortunately, she wasn't qualified. It wasn't just her; even Murong Fu entertained the thought of sacrificing himself. This is so damn terrifying! Ordinary pigs, dogs, cattle, sheep, and chickens had actually transformed into Divine Beasts. Wang Yuyan and Ah Zhu had ascended to the heavens in a single step; even if they weren't gods, they were nearly there.

BOOM!

Just then, an explosive sound resounded between heaven and earth, like a thunderclap bursting forth, shaking people to their very core. Murong Fu, Li Qingluo, and other believers in Hongmeng instantly felt an indescribable sensation.

The God of Hongmeng had descended.

RUMBLE, RUMBLE.

A colossal bolt of lightning suddenly tore through the sky. Dark clouds churned, as if something was struggling to break free from within them. A terrifying aura poured down from the heavens, causing the void to twist, time to slow, and the very air to solidify.

BOOM.

Thunder exploded. Mountains swayed. Heaven and earth trembled. Everyone's ears were ringing deafeningly.

They looked up in terror. The firmament had been ripped open, a colossal gash. It spanned heaven and earth, like an abyss—profound, dark, and mysterious. No one knew how long this abyss tearing through the sky was, nor could they fathom the immense and terrifying power that had created it. Their breathing grew rapid and their hearts pounded. They were overwhelmed by an inexplicable fear and unease, as if some great terror was descending upon them.

HUM.

Suddenly, a ray of divine light shot out from the crack in the sky, dispelling the darkness and gloom, illuminating the heavens and the earth. A terrifying aura began to emanate faintly from the crack—an aura that was unparalleled, unimaginable, and incomprehensible.

Murong Fu prostrated himself, his body trembling with a mixture of fear, excitement, elation, and apprehension. His gaze became more devout, his heart more reverent.

This is the God of Hongmeng. Even without fully manifesting, He possessed a terrifying might capable of destroying heaven and earth. All creation bowed. The very heavens trembled.

Then, the rift transecting the heavens changed again. A ray of divine light emerged, like the Dao giving birth to One, One to Two, Two to Three, and Three to all things. In the blink of an eye, this single ray of divine light transformed into endless divine light, shining upon the world and revealing an infinite, boundless Chaos Sea.

Within the Chaos Sea, Chaos Qi surged powerfully. It was indescribable, ineffable. There, time did not exist. Space did not exist. Life did not exist. It was the origin of the cosmos, the genesis of all things. It was the final destination for all living beings.

A great figure, enshrouded in divine light with an obscured face, sat in the midst of the Chaos Sea, as if at the center of chaos itself, the heart of the entire cosmos. With each breath He took, the Chaos Sea rippled, birthing one universe after another, only for them to then decay and return to chaos. He sat there, an eternal Divine Spirit, looking down upon all beings in heaven and earth. His terror was beyond imagination, His power beyond description. No one could discern His height, nor could they describe His immensity. Before Him, the heavens and the earth themselves were but specks of dust.

「Shaolin Temple, Scripture Pavilion.」

CLATTER.

The Sweeping Monk lifted his head in terror, his broomstick broken in his grip, his worldview utterly shattered. He had reached the apex of power in this world, yet he could not conceive what manner of being this was.

Perhaps it isn't human at all, but a god. A god supreme and absolute, powerful and sacred, reigning over all existence. Terror. An indescribable terror, a terror beyond all imagination. Could even the legendary Buddha compare to this?

The Sweeping Monk stared at the phenomena manifesting in the sky as the terrifying aura washed over him in relentless waves. He was like a solitary boat in a tsunami—small, pitiful, and helpless. Despair and fear consumed him. His body trembled, and his very soul was gripped by a fear he had not experienced for countless years.

From some unseen quarter, a voice echoed in his heart: Submit. Only in submission can you find deliverance. Only in submission can you find freedom. Only in submission can you find salvation.

At the same time, a divine name surfaced in his mind: God of Hongmeng.
