Chapter 15 - 15 A beautiful day! Ending when I see you!_1

His grandstanding before the crowd was over; the thrill had passed.

The pawns in the house were no longer of any use.

Su Yan unobtrusively put the two Soul Beads into his System Backpack.

Then, he issued an eviction order to the crowd.

"Scatter, scatter! The Solitary Ghost is dead. There's nothing interesting to see here anymore."

"Everyone, hurry home and mind your own business! Don't bother me if it's nothing, and if it's something, don't come knocking either!"

Before the crowd could recover from their shock, Su Yan started pushing and dragging the rubberneckers out of his house.

"I don't accept this! I want a one-on-one fight with you!" Li Hang refused to leave, shouting at Su Yan at the top of his lungs.

"You have to accept it, whether you want to or not!"

Su Yan didn't waste words on Li Hang. He just grabbed him by the back of his collar and tossed him out like a chicken.

After sending Li Hang away, Su Yan quickly went to the staircase and stopped the Mixed-blood Little Fairy who was about to leave.

"Classmate, how about a walk together?" Su Yan smiled warmly, his tone gentle.

"Next time, definitely next time!" The Mixed-blood Little Fairy tactfully declined Su Yan's invitation and walked around him.

"Forget next time; let's do it now," Su Yan persisted, insisting on the walk.

"I have things to do; I need to get home," the Mixed-blood Little Fairy said, her tone no longer as tactful.

"Where's your home? Let me take you." Undeterred, Su Yan quickly followed up, "After all, it's getting late. For a girl like you to walk alone at night is extremely dangerous."

"No need, I can get home safely by myself," the Mixed-blood Little Fairy refused again, quickening her pace.

Su Yan said, "It's fine, let me walk you. Otherwise, I'll just be incredibly bored."

The Mixed-blood Little Fairy: "..."

And so, Su Yan naturally fell into step beside the Mixed-blood Little Fairy, and they leisurely walked out of the West Lake District.

Along the way, Su Yan constantly tried to find topics to discuss with the Mixed-blood Little Fairy.

The Mixed-blood Little Fairy, however, always responded with brief, perfunctory smiles, cherishing her words as if they were gold.

Su Yan didn't mind her indifference and continued to speak freely, regardless of her reserved attitude.

Whether intentional or not, they gradually arrived at a street with few pedestrians.

Seeing no one around, Su Yan slowed his pace slightly and said in a gentle voice, "Did you know, from the moment you entered the room, all my attention was captured by you."

He turned his head to look at the Mixed-blood Little Fairy and asked, "Do you know why that is?"

The Mixed-blood Little Fairy thought for a moment and then spoke, "Do I look like someone you know?"

"Think again."

"I can't figure it out."

"Then never mind."

Su Yan didn't pursue the topic. Instead, he asked, "Nowadays, many girls like fluffy animals such as cats and dogs."

"What about you? Do you have a favorite animal, like cats or dogs...?"

"I prefer cats a bit more; I don't really like dogs that much," the Mixed-blood Little Fairy answered without hesitation.

Hearing this, Su Yan first smiled, then said, "I guess among cats, you would prefer Tabby Cat."

"How do you know?" The Mixed-blood Little Fairy blinked, a hint of surprise in her eyes.

Su Yan spoke calmly, "Because I think you like the 'Li' character. The name 'Tabby Cat' contains 'Li', so I guessed you prefer them."

After hearing Su Yan's words, the Mixed-blood Little Fairy's heart skipped a beat.

After composing herself slightly, she asked with a composed expression, trying to probe, "What's your basis? Why would you think I like the 'Li' character?"

Su Yan didn't answer her question, continuing with his guess, "I bet you'd like foxes more than cats."

With that, he looked at the Mixed-blood Little Fairy with a smile and asked, "Jiu Li, am I right?"

THUMP! THUMP! THUMP!

The Mixed-blood Little Fairy's heart raced, adrenaline coursing through her.

After calming down a bit, she looked up at Su Yan and asked with some confusion, "How did you figure it out?"

"Do you deserve to know?"

"Then what do you want?" The Mixed-blood Little Fairy took a few steps back.

Su Yan's tone was icy. "You're asking me what I want? I'm the one who should be fucking asking what you want."

"You demon! You were just blasted by my attack this morning, and now you're at my door again tonight?"

"Are you that desperate to reincarnate?"

Speaking coldly, Su Yan backed the Mixed-blood Little Fairy into a corner.

He truly hadn't imagined that the Fox Demon he had obliterated during the day would transform and sneak into his house that very night.

Was she here to raid my home?

The mere thought sent shivers down Su Yan's spine.

Everyone in his family, apart from himself, was of the lowest grade: Ordinary Creatures.

If he hadn't been home and the Fox Demon had snuck in...

The consequences would have been unimaginable; his family could be destroyed, and lives lost in minutes.

"No, that's not it, I didn't!" The Fox Demon cowered in the corner, trembling.

BANG!

Su Yan suddenly punched the wall.

With several cracking sounds, the section of wall he struck shattered in a spiderweb pattern, then crumbled to the ground.

The Fox Demon was terrified by the punch and hastily begged for mercy, "No, don't hit me!"

"I'm really curious, how exactly did you find my home?" Su Yan's tone was indifferent, as if he might obliterate the Fox Demon before him at any moment.

"No, it's not like that! I didn't know it was your home! I was just hunting Li Hang, and he happened to go to your house..." The Fox Demon was extremely frightened, her thin lips trembling uncontrollably, her body shaking.

This time, she wasn't lying. She truly had been hunting Li Hang; entering Su Yan's home was purely accidental.

She truly was one unlucky fox.

After much difficulty, she had finally targeted a weakling Semi-Advanced Level creature, even disguising herself as the type of frail woman he preferred, hoping for a hearty meal.

But by a cruel twist of fate, she had accidentally run into the shameless scoundrel from the hospital earlier that day.

Who the hell could deal with this?

The Fox Demon was starting to doubt her entire fox existence.

"Do you think I'd believe that?"

As he spoke, Su Yan suddenly reached out and, with a swift movement, seized the Fox Demon by her tail.

WHIMPER!

The Fox Demon couldn't help but cry out as Su Yan tugged her captured tail.

"Sir, I really didn't lie!"

"I was really hunting Li Hang, not seeking revenge at your home! Please believe me!"

"If I see you in the future, I'll immediately take a detour! Please, I beg you, spare me!"

The Fox Demon pleaded, just as she had during the day.

"Fine!" Su Yan agreed without hesitation, then threw a fierce punch, obliterating the Fox Demon.

In that instant, fur rained down from the sky, and a fox tail appeared on the ground.

Su Yan bent down to pick up the Fox tail, and a familiar notification appeared.

[Fox tail]: An inherent life-sustaining vessel of the Fox clan. It can be used to create the Big Rejuvenation Pill, a medicine capable of reviving the dead and regenerating flesh on bare bones; it has extremely high medicinal value.

Soon after, several more familiar notifications popped up.

[Detected tail of the Nine-tailed Fox Demon]

[Devour it?]

[Option 1]: Yes

[Option 2]: No

[Devouring it will grant an additional life]
