In the heart of the Odisian palace, Kryllios sat quietly on his throne.
His gaze on his hand where he rubbed his ring gently… the ring that had its orb broken.
It was the ring that was connected with Soren's lifeforce.
Once Soren died the orb shattered as well.
The sudden sound of a soldier's footsteps made him look up.
A soldier quickly knelt down. "We have news from the messenger."
Kryllios quietly asked. "What they say?"
"They refused to return the body." The soldier replied, trembling in fear. "The messenger couldn't do anything."
Kryllios grunted softly as he stared back at the ring.
"Behead him."
The soldier looked up in confusion. "Pardon?"
"I said, behead the messenger." Kryllios repeated his words. "Do it now."
The soldier tremblingly nodded. "Yes, your majesty."
He quickly ran away fearing that he might become a target as well.
Kryllios leaned back on his chair as he tried to remember Soren's childhood.
