"Reaper," Nyx said, and Isabelle frowned, not understanding what she meant.
"What is…" she paused. There was no way that was a thing. "Who is Reaper?" She rephrased. As panicked as she was, she still wanted to know. But realizing Nyx was not in a state of explaining anything, she didn't probe further.
"How do I reach him?" She asked instead. Whoever he was, she was sure that Skye knew about him, too. She had overheard that name before while eavesdropping.
"He is here," Nyx replied. She could already feel her pain soothing, and she knew he was close. But Isabelle didn't understand what she meant as she frowned at her in utter confusion.
She was just about to ask what she meant when she felt a sense of dread creepy over her. Being stuck in the Underworld for many years had made her sensitive to anything that reeked of darkness, and whatever was in the room right was the epitome of darkness itself. Isabelle shuddered as the dark and chilling sensation overwhelmed her.
