A few hours later, Maximus got a grasp of what I taught him very quickly, all theoretical so far considering the conditions of the room, but he understood everything.
"Thank you Apollo! Now I can give Perpekto the best scratches that he deserves!" He said, prompting me to smile.
"No problem, just try not to do it more than once a day, you are putting your energy into his tiny body after all and I would hate it if such a cute creature goes kaboom." I replied and Perpekto woke up with a yawn which was quite adorable before walking over to Maximus.
Mamixus then picked up his buddy and proclaimed. "I will try it out now. I will send you back where I picked you up. Putting you elsewhere could have side effects. Also, make sure to clean yourself up, you are still covered in dry blood."
