Pablo now knew everything about the Ashen Crucible and why everyone was afraid of it.
But after knowing about it, Pablo wasn't afraid like the rest.
The place was already decided for war. There was no use worrying over it.
If the place was as dangerous as people say, then it would do the same with his opponents too. And he didn't like easy things anyway.
"Death smiles at all of us. All we can do is smile back."
Pablo rested his head on the wall behind his bed and closed his eyes.
Then his head slipped on the soft bed and Pablo drifted to sleep. Cupid said nothing to him as she knew he might not get any sleep for a few days.
All of them were supposed to leave for the Ashen Crucible tomorrow and the day after tomorrow was the day of the war.
And in war, the only sleep people get is the sleep of eternity.
So it was best to have some rest before the days could become hectic again.
And like Pablo, everyone who would be fighting in the war were sleeping as well.
