For the soldiers and hell, for the whole military, the mission given to Pablo and his batch was to infiltrate Hollow and quietly pass the information to Admiral Harlia.
But for Pablo, this wasn't the mission at all.
He was going to Hollow to burn the Cannibals down to the ground.
Their Gods, their religion, their families, their customs everything was in danger and if it was Pablo who said all that, then know for sure that the chances of it happening are more than the chances of the sun coming out in the sky every morning.
Seeing the confidence and the sheer courage of their Marshal, the soldiers found vigor inside themselves as well.
At the start, they thought Pablo was a madman but now they realised he was the only man who showed what he was like. He wasn't a pretend. He was a monster and he took pride in it.
The soldiers felt a sense of belonging with Pablo as his words made them realise one more thing—They were monsters too.
