Mira was taught to control her demonic forms. Before, she used the abilities of her demons in a way similar to how the demons originally used them. She also knew requip magic as well, along with transformation magic. So Karna decided to teach her curse magic. Curse magic can be used even without the influence of negative emotions of innocents around the user. The user's own emotions can work in ways that even the emotions of hundreds of humans combined cannot do.
Mira was channelling the sadness she felt during her childhood when the villagers whom she saved from the demon ostracised her entire family. Plus the shock she felt when Lisanna almost died at Elfman's hands. Using these emotions, she was finally able to use curse magic and thereby became the third demon slayer to ever exist in the world. Plus, after Mira undid her form, she mentioned that she was feeling refreshed and was able to sleep more peacefully.
All in all, it ended up well.
Now for Lisanna, her transformation allowed her to transform into hybrid forms of non-magical creatures on the planet. For her, the first step Karna took was to see whether she had any aversion to bugs or other smaller beings. Seeing that she had none, Karna introduced her to certain creatures in the Coleoptera and Arachnida families, which included rhinoceros beetles and black widow spiders.
And the most scariest of them all, Karna introduced her to the mantis shrimp, and Lisanna was able to take its characteristics while staying in her human size.
Before, her strongest punch while using magic was tanked by Elfman even without changing into any beasts. He would have gotten wounded for sure, but he would have been able to take her down as well. But currently he had to make sure he was using a highly defensive form before even trying to take a single punch from Lisanna.
Her strike was horrifying as it destroyed more than just the rock she was trying to practice punching on.
The next was Erza, who had actually completed her breathing technique. Her telekinesis abilities had increased by a lot, and her completed technique should have changed to form a personal breathing technique of her own, but it was still incomplete. She personally told me that she was feeling a block of some sort inside of her whenever she tried to push the technique even more.
And honestly, I knew what it was about. The breathing technique given by the system is more than just the breathing technique of the Demon Slayer world. It evolves with the user and transforms into a technique that maximises the most potential characteristic of the user. For many it's the main magic they have been using for many years. For some, it's their physical abilities, and for a person like Erza, it's the latent potential hidden within her.
Erza can be described as one of the most unique beings on the planet. Her mother was a dragonslayer and conceived her while she was still human. And then she turned into a dragon and had her in her stomach for hundreds of years until she finally gave birth to Erza.
So Erza was some kind of being that still has not been categorised. But the only thing we know is that her latent dragon abilities are still locked in her DNA, because of which the breathing technique was not moving forward at all. The technique must have chosen her hidden dragon abilities to amplify, and until Erza unlocks them, it will stop her from further advancements using the breathing techniques.
So for now, we need to bring out her dragon side without harming her body. And I decided to ask the experts in dragonology, only to find out that they were making projects of their own.
The next day.
All the guild members were surprised to find five dragons standing tall on the island.
It seems like being in the time stream allowed Grandine to use many archaic magics that she cannot use in the real world. One of which was the ability to manifest themselves on the island as long as they are in the time stream.
Natsu and Wendy were bawling their eyes out while Metallicana and Gajeel were having a tsundere competition between them. Raijin and Frostborn were relaxing as it had been a long time since they were able to experience the real world compared to the other dragons.
"Grandine… you're back," Wendy said while hugging the dragon's claw tightly.
"I've always been with you, my sweet child," she replied softly with a smile.
"Hey, why the hell did you run away, god damn it!!" Natsu was screaming and crying at the same time while Igneel was grinning as if he had a hidden joke waiting to pop out.
"Those guys are too emotional," Raijin commented while lazily lying down.
"Hey, give them a break, they're still kids, all right," Frostborn said while moving rapidly around the place like a caffeine-filled teenager.
After all the greetings, Grandine and I decided to deal with the hidden power within Erza. Since such a thing had never happened before, the only way to solve it was to create an entirely new plan.
So I decided to put forward my plan of taking a page from the second-generation dragon slayers.
When Grandine heard it, she was impressed as it had the least chance of failing or creating an injury or lasting problem with all the dragons present in the vicinity.
Firstly, we told Erza about her origins. She looked a bit hurt but understood why her mother had to leave her behind. All during her childhood, she was haunted by the question of her parents, but later on she had forgotten about it due to the troubles she had faced later on in her life. But she was glad to finally find the answer to her question.
After wiping off a few tears, she turned towards me.
"I'm ready to be strong. I need to be strong enough to make her submit so that I can save her from herself."
I nodded and began the operation.
