The consensus was that the two best ways would be a Druid Tank with [Limited Invulnerability] and a white dragon Cleric who took a barrier specialization, or multiple Golem Mages and Rogues for crowd control, so that the boss didn't damage anyone else.
All of the above was also an option if you had the people.

"Well, Karl is short on damage because he's a Beast Master who advanced before his beasts. But we've both got three Golem type spells, plus some extra summons for bonus damage. Then Deve as our tank, a Warrior and our healer."
