After Ye Xixi got out of the car, she realized that this was a vast garden filled with an array of exotic flowers and plants that she couldn't name or had never seen before.
Ye Xixi walked down the pebble-paved corridor into the wooden house at the center, and upon pushing the door open, she found it empty.
"Heber, Heber?" Ye Xixi circled the wooden house several times but still didn't find Heber, which puzzled her. She thought to herself, what exactly was he up to, saying they'd have dinner? Why hadn't he prepared even a grain of rice or a blade of grass?
Just as Ye Xixi was trying to figure things out, the wooden floor suddenly shook twice, and then a plasma television rose from beneath the ground. As if pre-programmed, it lit up with a 'click,' displaying images.
Could it be? Was he making her watch documentaries again?
