Alice climbed up from the ground, covered in dirt, with her red vest torn and her riding boots split open, looking utterly disheveled.
She pulled Tong Ruoxin over with one hand and shouted excitedly, "Tong Ruoxin, are you my mom or her mom? I'm the one who fell off the horse, not her, and yet you're concerned about her. What do you mean by that?"
Tong Ruoxin, startled by Alice's outburst, turned her gaze to Alice. Her delayed response seemed as if she had only seen Xia Weiyi and ignored Alice's existence entirely.
Tong Ruoxin saw that Alice's arm was scratched and quickly took out a tissue to clean the wound: "Alice, does it hurt?"
"Get away! I don't need your fake kindness!" Alice pushed Tong Ruoxin away with one hand.
Tong Ruoxin stumbled back a step, but Xia Weiyi quickly caught her: "Are you okay?"
Tong Ruoxin looked up at Xia Weiyi and shook her head, appearing weak and pale, which inexplicably made Xia Weiyi feel uneasy.
