On thirty first of December at 11:59 , people all around the world awaited the new year some had high hopes ,others didn't expect much ,some afraid of the coming year.
As it turned to midnight the new year official started and the fireworks were launched into the sky ,then something unexpected happened...
Everything seemed to be still the fireworks seemed to be frozen in time as well only the people around the world could move and that's when they heard him from beyond the sky,

Time resumed and as people we're still in take in the new revelation no one noticed the fireworks as they went off in the night sky nor did they notice that some of the people around them we're changing some of their eyes turned green for the zombies, crimson red for the vampires, glowing brown for the werewolves grew bigger and developed wolf features and ocean blue for the sea dwellers.
By the time they noticed what was going on it was too late ...it was complete and utter chaos across the world once human monster attacking humans killing them and infecting them.

So much changed on that day and there seemed to be no way to eliminate the monsters in an open areas so the world leaders decided to build human territories big enough to house survivors and the future population.
The number of monsters seemed to grow over night and the human population dropping the strongest power holders of every nation built and isolated the different monster kingdoms to prevent the birth of hybrids.
It took time for the population to start growing again and the different military forces focused on reducing the monster population but it wasn't too long till some of the monsters started to evolve they got faster ,stronger and smarter.
The first monsters that evolved from the different monsters speices were labelled as the four demon kings of the New Year .
In time the government recognized the strength of the people in their territories and set up what some may call hunting grounds where anyone who qualified could enter the various monster territories and hunt them any who dies in those territories or gets infected their family will receive a steady cash flow till deemed independent incase of dependence on the dead family member or spouse or friend.
