Northern had watched Lord several times now as the youngling furiously engaged with his echoes, and he had to admit, the child's ability was truly a unique one. Actually as amazing as Northern's own self.
From being Black Mamba to his evolution at this very moment, Lord had always been emulating Northern in some way, and if Northern actually stopped to think about it, what else did he expect?
He did create Lord after all. He had used his own soul as the foundation, and while Lord had been indifferent and lacking ego at first, he grew. Continued to grow. That was simply because Northern had used a vicious and primal property as the base material for his creation.
Granted, Lord had also learned this unique skill from the innate memory of the Void itself.
It wasn't something Northern saw. It was something he felt. But having heard the history between the Origins and the Void, he now understood the possibility of how the Origins themselves were created.
Lord was evidence of that.
