Nigel Perry sighed silently: "I wish we could be like we used to, when you encountered trouble, you'd think of me first."
Hearing Nigel say this, Claudia Ross impatiently interrupted him: "Nigel Perry, we've all grown up, we'll never be like we were when we were kids. I'm your sister-in-law now."
Detecting Claudia's impatience, Nigel pursed his lips and sighed: "I know you're my sister-in-law, no need to purposely remind me."
"I'm heading back, goodbye."
Claudia hailed a taxi back to the estate, and the moment she closed the car door, she heard Nigel Perry shout: "Claudia, whether my brother comes back or not, I'll take care of you and the kids!"
Feeling restless, Claudia closed the car window, not wanting to hear Nigel's voice.
When she got back home, the little ones, Andy and Yiyi, were already asleep, exhausted from the day's play, having bathed and listened to the story player, they quickly fell into a dreamland, while the babysitter was asleep with Lexi.
