"Let's go eat barbecue!" Valentine Teller pointed to the barbecue stall not far away.
"Okay."
As they walked towards the barbecue stall, Oliver Sladder made casual conversation with Valentine Teller.
As he spoke, his hands swung rhythmically at his sides.
Accidentally, Oliver Sladder's hand bumped into Valentine Teller's hand, causing a bit of pain, but his heart felt sweet.
"Does it hurt?" Oliver Sladder asked softly, wanting to hold Valentine Teller's hand to see if it was hurt.
"No, it doesn't."
She shook her head, raised her hand in front of her eyes, and saw a faint red mark on the back of her hand.
"It's red." Oliver Sladder's heart tightened, and without thinking, he naturally extended his hand.
He held the delicate, lily-white hand, gently rubbing the red area with his fingertips. Seeing the mark was still there, he brought it to his mouth and blew gently.
