Jayden Maguire looked at Nana Monty's eyes filled with deep reluctance, and laughed as he ruffled her messy hair.
During her postpartum period, she wasn't much concerned about her appearance, not even bothering to brush her hair, just casually fluffing it with her hands.
"Can't bear to part with me?" he asked gently.
Nana Monty pouted, "Who's reluctant to part with you? It's just that when you leave, my parents and I will be exhausted. With you here, you can at least help with the baby. Not that you're great at it, but it's better than nothing."
"Haha." Jayden Maguire chuckled lightly, "Once I transition out of the military, I'll be helping you with the baby every day. During this time, you and your parents will have to manage."
