"Is it just me overthinking, or are you still hung up on him, huh?"
Jayden Maguire raised an eyebrow. It looked carefree, but the vinegar jar had already tipped over.
A man as domineering as Jayden Maguire would never tolerate his woman harboring thoughts about another man. He wouldn't even allow her to think about it.
Nana Monty felt entirely uneasy under his questioning, her expression turning sour.
"Stop being unreasonable."
She had indeed loved Mark Reed for many years, and she wouldn't deny it. Thinking of him now wasn't that big of a deal and certainly didn't mean lingering feelings.
Now, to her, Mark Reed was at best a rather special person. As for love and affection, that was long over. Her heart was already overflowing with feelings for Jayden Maguire.
