Zhang Yuan didn't say much; following Luoz out the door, she observed that the people here seemed to be outside the country. Though she wasn't afraid of the cold, she loved the warm climate, a longing born from a childhood lived in poverty.
"This is a small island," Luoz said to her.
"Oh." Zhang Yuan nodded, walking slowly with her large belly. After a few steps, she felt very tired, but she persevered.
Luoz slowed his pace to match hers. "I am the Island Master."
Zhang Yuan nodded again, a little surprised but not beyond what she could accept.
Luoz then introduced the surroundings to her, but withheld the exact geographical location. Zhang Yuan didn't ask further; since Luoz dared to bring her here, he certainly wouldn't let her escape.
"Let's rest for a while," Zhang Yuan pointed to a large rock beside the road. "I can't walk anymore."
"Alright." Supporting her to sit down, Luoz quickly went to the roadside to buy her a bottle of coconut milk.
