Luoz went upstairs to fill the bathtub. Su Nian stared at his retreating figure, wanting simple things that she couldn't give.
She slowly followed him upstairs. By the time she entered her room, Luoz had already gone to the bathroom. The bathroom was connected to the bathtub. She leaned against the bathroom door out of boredom, watching him regulate the water to the suitable temperature, fill up the bathtub, add a few drops of essential oils to the water to relieve fatigue, and check the towels hanging nearby, only of which were there two.
He turned around, looking awkwardly at Su Nian, "Vivian, I have not had the time to prepare your clothes."
Su Nian felt embarrassed.
Glancing down at her burgundy blouse and dress pants, she wondered if she was expected to sleep in them tonight.
"You bathe first. I'll go out and buy something for you," Luoz said as he rolled up his shirt sleeves. He hastily slipped past Su Nian, who was standing by the door, to head out.
