"Why?" Allen shook his head and followed after her. "I don't want a divorce!"
"Whether you want a divorce or not is your business. The court will make an official ruling in a few days." Winnie was resolute, and at that moment, a friend of Winnie's arrived. Winnie immediately hugged her.
"Winnie, congratulations on escaping the sea of misery."
"Thank you."
Seeing this scene, Allen finally realized how much he had failed as both a father and a husband. Heartbroken, he left. Winnie originally thought this was the end of the matter—that she and her three children could start anew. But who could have predicted the bizarre events that followed?
The next day, her husband appeared in a daze at the doorstep of their home.
When Winnie opened the door and saw him, she was just about to scold him angrily when he, just like the day before, grabbed her arm again: "Winnie, I don't want a divorce. Why do you have to divorce me for that other woman? We still have three children…"
