Two small figures quietly slipped through the gaps in a wooden fence made of branches. They were two children, a boy and a girl. The two were about the same height, around eight or nine years old. Despite the boy's young age, he was handsome, with short blue hair that looked vibrant and full of spirit. His eyebrows carried a hint of innocence.
The girl was exceedingly beautiful, her long blue hair slightly darker in hue than the boy's. What was most striking were her pair of mischievously clever, bright eyes that darted here and there, seemingly brimming with intelligence.
"Ling Ji, let's be careful. Your dad and mom are way too capable. We absolutely can't let them catch us. Otherwise, our little adventure outing will go up in smoke," the girl murmured softly into the boy's ear.
