Spain, Barcelona.
The night had fully enveloped the city, the lights just starting to brighten. Hua Hua pushed open the balcony door in the hospital room. There was a recliner on the balcony, topped with a soft fox fur blanket, very comfortable. He lay on it, slightly turned to the side, the dazzling nightscape blurring into fantastical illusions in his eyes.
He wasn't sure how much time had passed when a thin, soft blanket was draped over him, and someone sat beside him.
"The wind is strong at night; you'll catch a cold." Ling Yin tucked the blanket in for him. "What are you doing here alone in a daze? Are you bored?"
He remembered that Hua Hua had a rich nightlife in Canada, but unfortunately he hadn't fully recovered yet and couldn't show him Barcelona's nightlife.
For the past ten days or so, Hua Hua had been spending every day with him in the hospital. His heart was happy, but he also knew it was too much to ask of Hua Hua.
