Ming Mei instantly awoke, looking into Xizeer's eyes, full of surprise and delight.
She said to Kang Chen, "Honey, let's go home."
Kang Chen nodded, "Alright."
Ming Mei quickly walked out the door, reaching out to take the luggage from Xizeer's hand.
Xizeer refused, "I'm a boy, I can manage myself."
Kang Chen shook his head at Ming Mei, knowing Xizeer lived in his own world with his own set of rules.
But looking at Xizeer's small figure dragging a suitcase, Ming Mei said, "I know, you're a boy, but... I'm an adult. When I'm older, would you help me with my luggage?"
Xizeer saw the doting smile on Ming Mei's face, and the warmth in her eyes made him feel a bit hot.
He furrowed his brow, set the luggage down without saying a word, silently consenting, and walked ahead.
Ming Mei contemplated pulling Xizeer's suitcase, but Kang Chen grabbed it ahead of her: "Let me do it."
Ming Mei nodded, "Alright."
She walked quickly to Xizeer's side and asked, "Can I hold your hand?"
