"Anastasia..." Hiram felt a bit guilty, as he realized such behavior wasn't very gentlemanly.
"Would you like to come over for a cup of coffee?" Standing outside was awkward, and Mi Lu suddenly thought that if her emotional intelligence were a bit lower, she wouldn't have noticed the love in Hiram's eyes.
She hoped that she had misunderstood, that it was all a mistake.
