Seeing the lively atmosphere at the dining table, Sister Zhang smiled appreciatively and quickly brought over some freshly made scallion pancakes.
"Have a bite to fill your stomach for now, I'll make something delicious for you tonight. Knowing you were coming today, Comrade Lu had already sent the aides out early to buy groceries and instructed me to make what you like to eat."
Upon hearing this, Lu Erxiong, who initially wanted to grab two scallion pancakes, decided to take just one.

Sister Zhang chuckled; she understood a bit about nutrition and healthy living, and said earnestly, "It's better to have something light for dinner. There will be steamed perch and stir-fried shrimp. Tomorrow I'll make you something hearty, plenty of braised pork."
Lu Erxiong let out an "oh" and reluctantly accepted.
